North Harbour A turned the tables on their Pan Pacific Youth Festival loss to Marist Red by capturing the Under 14 NRL title at West Wave today. The game went to the wire with North Harbour A emerging as 9-8 victors. North Harbour had gone out to a 3 goal lead but Marist kept pegging back the difference until they scored to take the game within one goal but North Harbour A kept them at bay with solid defence. Tauranga A took out the Bronze medal match with a 6-5 win over Waitakere Gold. All the other NRL play offs will be held next weekend in Tauranga and Auckland. |
